At Andrews Counseling and Consulting PLLC, we are committed to making mental health care as accessible and stress-free as possible. Understanding how billing and insurance work is an important part of that commitment. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about payments, insurance plans, and how we support you through the process.

Sliding Fee Discount Program (SFDP)

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee available based on family size and income.

Accepted Insurance Plans

We currently accept the following insurance providers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Medicaid (State-specific plans)
  • Medicare

If your plan isn’t listed, please contact our office. We’re happy to check your benefits and help determine your coverage.

Out-of-Network & Private Pay

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to receive care using out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill (an itemized invoice) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Sliding scale fees may be available based on income and need. Please ask about our options—we’re here to help.

Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) / Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Checks (in-person only)

All payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

No Surprises Act Disclosure

In compliance with the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before receiving services.

To request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact our billing department.
